This Refund Policy governs cancellations, refunds, and pauses for all protocols and services offered by Praan Healthtech Private Limited (“Praan”, “Praan Health”, “we”, “us”, “our”) — including our Comprehensive, Essential, and GLP protocols, and any other protocol we may offer from time to time. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions. The specific inclusions, duration, and buffer allowance of your plan are set out in your Protocol Confirmation.
By enrolling in any Praan Health protocol or making a payment, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Principles
- Praan Health protocols are personalised, capacity-planned, and care-team driven, with a structured engagement period (the duration set out in your Protocol Confirmation) designed to enable meaningful health outcomes.
- All protocols are sold on an upfront payment basis.
- Once a protocol begins, doctors, trainers, nutritionists, and support staff are allocated specifically for the Member.
- As a result, refunds are limited and governed strictly by the conditions below.
- All refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original mode of payment only.
2. Payment Structure
All Praan Health protocols are offered on an upfront payment basis. This approach supports consistent participation and accountability throughout the protocol, and ensures sufficient duration to enable meaningful health outcomes and a proper clinical review. Fees are inclusive or exclusive of applicable GST as communicated at the time of payment. Praan Health reserves the right to revise pricing for new enrolments and renewals.
3. Cooling-Off Period (Before Protocol Start)I
f you request cancellation before your first scheduled session or onboarding consultation, a refund may be considered. In such cases, any administrative, onboarding, or payment gateway charges may be deducted. If any consultation has already taken place, the cost of those sessions will be deducted at standard rates.
4. Refunds After Protocol Commencement
A protocol is treated as commenced upon payment confirmation, or after the first consultation, onboarding call, or session of any kind. Once commenced:
- No full refunds are provided. This applies regardless of usage, perceived progress, or personal circumstances.
- Partial refunds, if any, are granted solely at Praan Health’s discretion and only under exceptional circumstances.
- Completed consultations or sessions are deducted at prevailing rates.
- Time spent on protocol design, care planning, internal coordination, and care team allocation is considered utilised and non-refundable.
5. Pauses, Breaks & Session Carry-Forward
Members may take planned breaks during their protocol, within the buffer allowance for their plan. The buffer scales with protocol duration and inclusions, and the exact allowance is set out in your Protocol Confirmation and governed by the Terms and Conditions.
- Approved breaks do not result in loss of sessions — remaining sessions are rescheduled based on mutual availability.
- Breaks do not qualify for refunds.
- If the standard break allowance is exhausted, remaining unused sessions are considered lapsed and the protocol is marked concluded, without refund.
Sessions disrupted by Praan Health’s own operations — such as care team unavailability — are never charged against your allowance and are appended to the end of your protocol at no additional cost.
6. Medical or Personal Exceptions
In cases of serious medical events, hospitalisation, or other unavoidable circumstances, you may submit a written request for review to support@praan.health. Supporting documentation may be required. Outcomes may include a temporary pause, protocol restructuring, or a partial refund or credit at Praan Health’s discretion. All decisions under this clause are final.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Completed consultations or sessions.
- Missed sessions without adequate prior notice.
- Discounts, promotional offers, or bundled pricing benefits.
- Payment gateway or transaction fees.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days from the date of approval, to the original mode of payment. Praan Health is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party processors.
9. Changes to This Policy
Praan Health reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.
