- Third-Party Data — information shared by healthcare providers, trainers, nutritionists, or labs integrated into our ecosystem, and wearable device data if you connect them to Praan Health.
- Google Calendar Data — if you choose to connect your Google account, we access your Google Calendar data through Google APIs, including event titles, event dates and times, and your free/busy availability. We request only the minimum access (scopes) needed to provide the scheduling features you enable, and you can disconnect your Google account at any time.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Delivering your care — to deliver, personalise, and manage your protocol and care plan, including the consultations, assessments, training, nutrition, and monitoring components included in your plan.
- Calendar & scheduling — if you connect your Google account, we use your Google Calendar data to schedule and manage consultations and appointments, check your availability, and send you appointment reminders. We use this data solely to provide and improve these scheduling features and for no other purpose.
- Member safety — to enable your care team to monitor your progress and ensure your safety.
- Payments & billing — to process payments and maintain billing records.
- Analytics & improvement — to understand engagement and improve our protocols, models, and outcomes.
- Legal & compliance — to meet our obligations under applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and to respond to lawful requests.
- Communication — to share protocol updates, reminders, support, and (with your consent) promotional content.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your data. Your information is shared only with members of your care team relevant to your protocol — which, depending on your plan, may include Praan Doctors, Praan Trainers, Praan Nutritionists, wellness counsellors, and protocol coordinators — strictly on a need-to-know basis. We do not share data with third parties without your explicit consent, except where legally required or in the event of a medical emergency. Where third-party service providers support us (for example, payment processing, secure cloud hosting, analytics, or support), they are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. For corporate wellness programmes, only aggregated, anonymised data is shared with corporate clients unless explicit consent is given.Google user data. Praan Health's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained from Google Calendar is used only to provide and improve the scheduling features you enable; it is never sold, never used for advertising, never transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide these features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; and it is not read by any human except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or where required by law.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on secure servers within India, with encryption applied in transit and at rest.
- Access is role-based and monitored to prevent misuse.
- Regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing are performed.
5. Data Retention
- Health records are retained for a minimum of 8 years, as required under applicable medical laws.
- Financial records are retained as per applicable Indian tax laws.
- Inactive accounts may be anonymised or deleted once retention obligations have been met.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, review, and update your personal information at any time. You may withdraw consent to data processing, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (subject to legal and contractual obligations), or opt out of promotional communications.
